The Healing power of Nature

The connection to nature can be a powerful resource in the healing process.  There is easy access to the wonderful outdoor areas here–I hope to inspire others to explore the natural beauty available in California.

Five Principles of Hakomi Therapy

My practice is founded on the five principles of Hakomi Therapy.  The developer of the method, Ron Kurtz, came to these principles through his experience of healing with clients.  Here are the principles:

  • Mindfulness
  • Unity
  • Organicity
  • Body/Mind Connection
  • Nonviolence

Make each moment
An occasion to live deeply,
happily, in peace
